For breakfast I made an overnight chia, flax and quinoa bowl with flavours inspired by the Middle East. I called it my ‘Desert Rose Breakfast’ 🌹 🥣
Soaking this protein-rich dry mix in plain yoghurt, fresh lemon juice, three tablespoons of rose water, some mint leaves and two punnets of freshly crushed raspberries created a sharp, summery floral base with honey and chopped dates added for sweetness.
I served it with more plain yoghurt on top, along with a large spoonful of delicious raspberry jam, a sprinkle of sunflower seeds, dark choc chunks, dates and a little more honey and mint.
I shared it with my hubby and he loved it! 💕
