Sandra Salgado Ilustração Ilustradora e designer baseada em Portugal. Ilustrações personalizadas, ilustrações originais Hi! I'm Sandra and I am an illustrator based in Portugal.

I have an interest in pursuing a career in children's illustration or, at least, keep doing art that I find cute. The themes diverge a lot depending on the subject I wish to tackle and with the aesthetic that I find more fitting for the job. Having studied both communication design and illustration, I try to always incorporate things I've learned in both degrees in my work and try to always learn and explore either new techniques, new material, and new styles in order to do what I think would be the best solution for a project.

A week later I post about my booth Connichi
I was so nervous about this con, since I was going alone and did not know anyone at the con. But it all went well.
The space and organization of it were good, the fact that there was no music nor karaoke was a blessing and everyone was so nice!!
Seeing so many artists displaying their original work was so inspiring and I had to stop myself from buying everything.

I hope I am able to come back next year!!

Today I received the sample of my second hairclaw design!
And I am in love with it.

For someone who rocked short hair for more than 10 years, I am loving to design hairclaws.
I am thinking about making smaller hairclaws too, but I cannot think of a theme for them.
Any sugestions?

Finally the website is (almost) done!
I am still working on it, because as it is now I am still missing all my fan works and other collections.
But it was important to me to put it out there instead of postponing it once again!

If you see anything wrong with it, please DM me. The same applies if you want to order something that is not there yet.

I am finally taking a small small break to focus on drawing and rethink about everything about my art.
Sharing some pictures of my trip to Jerez with
It was my first time in a spanish anime convention and it felt so cozy, like early iberanimes (if you know you know) and every one was super nice. I AM SO SORRY FOR ALL THE BUTCHERED SPANISH. I am trying to get better but sometimes my brain just goes brrrrrrr

__________

Lately I have been drawing a lot and do I have a lot of new things to share but I have been feeling like people lost interest on the things I do, or they do not connect with them.

What would you like to see in my table for next conventions?
