please dont clean your nakago with powertools, it removes the blackrust which is a vital to judging the age of the sword but also acts as protection against new rust forming.

so quick tips dont f**k with nihonto if you dont know what your doing. to repair this will cost alot of money and require a trip to japan.

mantetsu-to are all illegal to send to Japan. As they are classified as products of war by the Japanese government

Therefore, the knowledge of these items in Japan is low. You're better suited seeking advice from the West.
