This is because the region of the brain that deals with smell is directly linked to memory. This means we associate smells with memories, both good and bad. Just imagine the smell of freshly cut grass, what does it remind you of? It reminds me of mowing the lawn with my Dad when I was a young boy, a memory that I am fond of. I enjoy the powerful memories that these scents bring back and I would love for others to share a similar experience through Inscentive.
