Hey Groovers and Shakers, Makers and Menders, we've got a bit of a situation - Make & Mend Agnes Water is closing shop for the day on Saturday, May 23rd. 😢

BUT, don't go thinking we're abandoning ship! ⛵️(I could add a reference to cpt cook, but I won't 🤭)

We'll be setting up shop at the 1770 Festival over at the SES grounds instead. 🥳🎉

And the best part?
Entry is free. 🎆

Something special has been quietly taking shape behind the scenes.

Over the past weeks we have been creating a tribute space in honour of Bob Gammage — artist, storyteller, creator of The Art Of Life Artistry (T.O.L.A.), and a man who spent decades capturing community through paint.

Bob believed that we all leave brushstrokes behind.

This tribute wall has been created to honour those brushstrokes, the stories they carried, and the many lives and communities touched along the way.

We have been incredibly honoured by the response from the community.

So many stories have been shared.

Photographs have been sent through.

Memories have found their way back home.

And we have even received an original song written about and for Bob.

Every contribution matters.

Each story, image, memory and offering will be honoured and included as part of the Tribute Wall — helping create a space that reflects not only Bob’s journey, but the many lives he touched along the way.

You’ll be able to experience the tribute installation during the 1770 Festival at Make & Mend retail stall as part of our celebration of creativity, memory and regional arts.

Tomorrow we’ll share something even more special…

A piece of Bob’s legacy that will continue the story.

Explore the beautiful world of fragrance and learn how different botanical notes come together to create scent stories. This bespoke workshop invites participants to discover, blend, and create through aroma.
