I’m trying to update my website, but honestly, I get so bored with the admin side of things that many of these lovely pieces never quite make it onto the site!

I’d much rather be in the studio creating than sitting at a computer uploading photos. 🎨

I’ve been busy making new work, which means it’s time to make a little room in the studio. So I’m having a little woodcut clear-out, with some pieces available at reduced prices.

I thought I’d share just a few of the pieces I’ve been working on in the studio over the past few months. I’m so grateful to have a little space of my own where I can shut out the chaos of the world, get lost in the process, and simply focus on what I love doing.

“Dress for Voyagers” — papercut, watercolour on vintage map, vintage map collage and inkwork.

I love taking one image and seeing how many different ways I can make it come to life. Having a laser file full of my designs created over many years means I can cut, layer, collage, paint and add to them depending on whatever takes my fancy on the day. A little bit of planning, a lot of playing, and seeing where the idea decides to wander….✂️
