Feeling grateful this morning, soaking it all in on the verandah — even if it does feel like I’m hosting a committee meeting with all the chairs lined up 😂 (their rite of passage before they leave home, a pause on the verandah).
Sipping on my homemade .h.e_b.l.a.c.k_a.p.p.l.e almond brew with a dash of ✨ and one of Al’s legendary cornflake biscuits. Baking is his latest making adventure. Of course it means new tools but my $15 hand mixer from the 90s owed us nothing 🤣. I’m also grateful for the pup lying on my foot. Maia’s less frantic these days and can ‘almost’ handle relaxing out the front. She’ll only last 10 minutes but I’ll take it. Happy Sunday ☀️
