Just wanted to share my journey with you of my pressed flowers 💐 art. It started in 1996 when we migrated to Australia. Essentials we carried in baggage, not the paints & brushes in our luggage. Lincraft, a hobby store, was the only option unaffordable for new migrants. I thought that my inner artist would die soon. I used to do morning walks and gather a variety of fascinating Australian flora. The old paper directory was a perfect place to press them with a wait of 3-4 weeks for results. Two swans in the picture are my first creation where no twizer was used to put the leaves in place but my fingers. Then I wanted admission in Visual Arts, but I had no portfolio. So, I showed my Swans to prove my creativity and got admission. It made me realise the importance of the Swans-collage. So, I framed them in framed and they are yet alive in my room with no discolour..

Afterwards, I made more than 20 diverse frames. And in recignition of my artwork, the local council not only exhibited my work in libraries, hospital foyers and also chose many cards to send to the Parliamentarians on Christmas.

I also, preserved bouquets, customised shadow frames.
