New Moon in Leo ♌️

In the misty dawn tomorrow, at approximately 5.11am AEST we will be blessed with a beautiful new moon in the charismatic and confident fire sign of Leo. Symbolised by the fierce lion, this astrological sign is loyal, protective, generous, warm-hearted, passionate, creative and are leaders by nature. Ruled by the Sun - the creator of life and light, the shining star of the solar system - Leo doesn't shy away from being the centre of attention.

Full Moon in Capricorn ♑️

Our beautiful moon will peak right before the break of dawn tomorrow at 6.39am AEST in Capricorn. Represented by the mythical sea goat - half goat, half fish symbolising Capricorns ability to be in touch with both the material and the emotional realm. Practical, ambitious, hard working, and patient are all traits of this cardinal earth sign. Ruled by Saturn - the planet of discipline, structure, and boundaries.

Full moons in any sign can be confronting, they spotlight hidden truths, excelerate our emotions, and push stories toward resolution without our consent. This one in particular may come in the form of a reality check, the moon sits uncomfortably here and is usually about the ebb and flow of emotion, whilst Capricorn is no nonsense and disciplined. At 8.31pm EST last night, the moon hit its darkest phase in the water sign of Cancer. Represented by the symbol of a crab - which has a hard exterior but is soft in the middle, which is quite like their character. Cancer is sensitive and empathetic, loyal and protective, and is ruled by the moon which governs intuition, dreams, emotions, and femininity. The full moon is upon us again, at 5.47pm AEST she will peak in the fire sign of Sagittarius. Represented by the centaur - half horse, half man who posseses a bow and arrow. Ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion, wisdom, growth, and good fortune. Qualities of the straight-forward, direct Sagittarius include an optimistic and curious nature, a thirst for adventure and travel, and a philosophical, visionary mindset. Twin Tides 🌊

This fresh and vibrant creation was designed during New Moon portal over the last few days. In traditional tarot, Gemini is represented by 'The Lovers' card, funnily enough it was the card that I pulled last night whilst photographing this creation 🃏

Adorned with delicate, dried baby's breath that has been sitting on my desk for months waiting for its next purpose, a few pearls within the flowers to represent the birthstone of Gemini, and ''twin' crescent moons back to back to get as close to the symbol of Gemini as I could ♊️. Wax scented in uplifting white tea and ginger, in a stunning, sea inspired colour of green/blue. It's fresh, its flirty, its speaks joy and excitement 🩵

At 1.02pm today our ever-changing moon starts its new lunar cycle in the Air sign of Gemini. Full Moon in Scorpio ♏️

In the early hours of the morning at approximately 3am EST tomorrow, the full moon peaks in the astrological sign of Scorpio. The intense, loyal, mysterious, and intuitive Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, the planet of transformation and rebirth. Super New Moon in Ta**us ♉️

At 5.30am this morning a Super New Moon graced our skies in the fixed sign of Ta**us. The people born under this earth sign are patient, practical, dependable individuals. Determined and consistent with a grounded nature. They also can be stubborn and head strong, like their corresponding symbol - the mighty bull. The main themes of this moon are pleasure, luxury, comfort, and stability. What does stability look like to you? How can you get closer to that picture?

It's time to use a slower and steadier approach like our Taurean friends, adopting a patient yet persistent mindset. Use this dark moon to acknowledge that this isn't a time for action but a time for planting seeds for the future and making a commitment to building your desired life. New moons are about going within, they invite us to explore new ways to relate to its energy and are magical portals for setting fresh intentions, a space for new beginnings.

This astrological portal is a space to fill your own cup, discover your strengths and proudly own them. If you find this difficult, perhaps ask someone close to you to tell you what they like about you and let it ignite your own self-worth.

Earth signs rule the physical realm and are the grounding force of the zodiac, using grounding techniques during this moon phase to reconnect you to nature and/or to your body are favourable. These small practices can help regulate your nervous system and help to achieve a closer connection between the mind, body and spirit. I personally practice stillness, a simple form of meditation/breathwork. Laying completely motionless in silence with eyes closed, face up with one hand on heart and the other on my abdomen (womb), focused on breath. This brings me back to self and grounds me.

A few days ago I ignored a strong gut feeling about a situation and there was a lesson in that for me. Physically, my body was giving me signs that something was off, however i went against it and it turned out my instincts were right. I have spent many years developing a spiritual connection to my body and was disappointed that I didn't trust myself as i did before. So this new moon I reflect on the importance of listening to my intuition, re-establishing my mind-body-spirit connection, honouring the patience and persistence it took to be able to tune into my own frequency, and to never abandon myself on paths that don't align.

Full Moon in Libra ♎️

This morning at 10.36am our beautiful moon peaked illumination in the the air sign of Libra. On the back end of eclipse season, this full moon feels significantly softer. With all the chaotic energy felt over the last few weeks, this is a chance to reset and put things back into perspective. A time to pick up the pieces that may have shattered apart during the lunar/ solar warfare that can and is, eclipse season.

Libra is ruled by the planet Venus - the planet of love. Libra governs beauty, relationships, harmony and like it's symbol (the scales) is about balance. In traditional tarot, the Justice card is the card of Libra, the card representong fairness and a sense of just. People born under this sign tend to be romantic, fun and flirty, diplomatic and tactful, charming and social. They tend to 'weigh' up all the information before proceeding with decisions and can be known to be fence sitters, which makes them great mediators and listeners.

This full moon is all about relationships and balance. With the sun in Aries (me) and the moon in Libra (we), it's about finding the balance between the two. Maintaining a need for connection with a sense of independence. An examination of the balance in your own relationships and life is in focus. Are you getting what you need from your connections? Are you giving enough in return? Are you a giver or a taker? What do you give and what do you take? What do you need to create balance?

The full moon may expose unconscious, unhealthy relationship patterns, and it brings us to question and think about how we give and receive love. Use this Libran energy to disect your thoughts and feelings from both sides of the coin and ask yourself what needs more attention and what needs less.

As human beings, we all show our love in different ways which can be hard to comprehend or feel if another person is opposite in their approach to love. Ask for what you need diplomatically and/or take accountability for your role in the cause of the imbalance, recalibrate your energy and tailor your thoughts to reflect that love should be a connection in the most conscious, equal way. You should only get what you give. This goes for all relationships, whether romantic, platonic, family bonds, our work/career and of course, our relationships with ourselves. If you feel like you are constantly giving and receiving nothing in return or not showing up fairly in your relationships with others than now is the time for that conversation. Full moons bring culmination and are usually a time for letting go of what no longer serves us. Whether it is something within us, a way of being, or the people around us.

On a personal and quite vulnerable note, I myself have found it difficult to receive love in the past. Not so much for friendships but in romantic partnerships. It's served as a barrier for me with strong roots attached to it, so this full moon has been beneficial to me, a necessity for my journey. It's made me consciously aware of my own approach to love and connection. It's opened my mind to truly unpacking what I personally need to change and navigate through to the growth and development of my own relationships. We all deserve love, some like myself, weren't given the tools to understand this but it's definitely something that can be obtained through self-discovery, self awareness, and a willingness to the quest.

Super New Moon in Aries & Partial Solar Eclipse ♈️

Tonight at 9.57pm, the moon was at its darkest phase. With this being the first new moon of the astrological year, in the bold, fearlessly spirited fire sign of Aries, in addition to a partial solar eclipse, it is an undeniably powerful portal to claim your new beginnings and to define the path forward. New moons are about rest and renewal, a time to set intentions and prepare, and this one is supercharged.

People born under the sign of Aries are energetic and confident, hot tempered and passionate, independent and ambitious. They want to stand out from the crowd and have the will to succeed. Direct in their approach, yet uncomplicated. Arians go into everything hard and fast, its their nature. They can be impulsive and if unstimulated become bored easily. They have drive and ambition, with the courage to strip away anything that is not strictly necessary to the achievement of their goals.
