Each term at .au the art coaches also paint an artwork to suit the term theme. This is my artwork (Erin) for term 4’s ‘I do like to be beside the seaside’ theme.
This lighthouse is standing on its rocky shore ready to light the night ahead of the oncoming storm. I enjoyed playing around with the light in this one, as the lighthouse is in shadow and it’s the background that is brightly lit. The little staircase carved into the rock is my favourite part. ☺️🎨 So much fun to paint! I wonder what next term’s theme will be?!!

BALLARAT FRIENDS, next Friday night it’s our EXHIBITION LAUNCH NIGHT!! Woohoo

It’s not JUST our exhibition launch, though...It’s also the launch of COLOURING CLUB! Come along for a fun, creative night! Great friends, great drinks and COLOURING!

More about our monthly Colouring Club will be sent out very soon, but pop it in your diaries because you’re all invited to the first one, which will be at Kilderkin at our exhibition opening night.
We supply all the colouring goodies, and you supply yourselves.
Kids are welcome if accompanied by an adult on this night,
and we would love to see you there!

And yes, our artworks will be available for purchase should you see a special little something you would like to adopt!

This big koala is 90cm x 60cm, acrylic on canvas. I have missed painting koalas! One of my all time fave animals.
