While I'm off on holiday, Gather is being handed over to someone I trust completely, the wonderful Alice! She's traveling all the way up from Melbourne to take on this role.
She's one of those people who can look at a pile of random materials and immediately see what they could become. A genuinely creative human, a maker, an ideas person, and a very good friend.
She'll be stepping into my shoes for the September school holidays and taking over all the school holiday classes and the shop at Gather. So please pop in for a visit or book the kids in for a class or for the special adults' class she'll be doing.
I may be away, but the glue, paint, thread, scissors, and general creative chaos will be in very good hands. You're going to love her!

Another couple of the very popular flower resin coaster class. Love seeing how everyone takes the same information about design, colour and balabnce and creates such individual coasters. Next one of these class will be a Christmas spices coaster class on 28 & 29 November.

I’m heading off for a little holiday over the September school holidays, which means Gather will be in the very capable hands of one of my very good creative friends Alice.

Alice is creative, clever, practical and, most importantly, completely at home in the world of making.

While I’m away, she’ll be taking over the school holiday classes, keeping the creative wheels turning and making sure Gather continues to be the place to come for a little time away from screens and a lot of time making things.

She’ll also be running a very special adult creative class while I’m gone.

It will be business as usual, you’re just getting a slightly different creative boss for a couple of weeks. We even look alike!
