Today’s mission was simple: make a vegetarian lasagna in Japan.
No lasagna sheets.
No ricotta.
No problem.

Come grocery shopping with me at Ogino before I attempt to rescue dinner with penne, cottage cheese and a little blind confidence.

Somehow it tasted AMAZING. ❤️

Come hang out with me while I attempt to turn the ridiculous amount of pumpkin my friend gave me into a creamy pumpkin, pesto & spinach pasta 🎃🌿🍝

Then after lunch, we’re heading straight back to the early 2000s and playing THE SIMS 1! 🎮💚

Expect cooking, chatting, questionable decisions and almost certainly some Sims chaos. 😂

But there are some beautiful moments too! A much-needed beach day, the Mishima Summer Festival, and lots of chats about my first days at work and finding my feet in Japan.

It's officially been 10 days since I moved to Japan and I'm finally starting to settle in! 🥹

This week we're buying furniture, getting my new bike 🚲, hiring a car, eating sushi, trying natto for the first time 😅 and chatting about what life in Japan has been like so far!

The moving adventure has officially become the living in Japan adventure! ❤️

New vlog coming tomorrow. My 2nd week in Japan has been verrrry slow. Not much happening in this heat and waiting on all the official documents to go through so I can actually buy furniture! But I went on an adventure today and it was splendid ❤️🌞
