Gardens & Creativity — Dries Van Noten

Long before we started Le Sac, I loved Dries for the way he clashed colour and print like no one else, always flattering, never fussy. Turns out his garden at home in Belgium is cut from the same cloth.

Fifty-five acres near Antwerp, laid out by landscape architect Erik Dhont in loose, layered rooms, woodland, roses, a wild meadow, that Dries and his partner Patrick tend themselves most weekends. Riotous colour, nothing too neat, clash and chaos in the best way. Exactly what you'd expect.
