WIP - Ross House
Richly textured material shifts developing in constant dialogue with their surrounds: grasses, gums, weathered sandstone, terracotta.
A glossy pass - through in strong strawberry catches shifting foliage, pulling leafy silhouettes inside and charging the space with movement.

A quietly composed facade emerges at Marjorie House, mid construction: simple materials, finely tuned detailing, and craft at every junction.

Step, roll, slide

Cheeky encounters in this Randwick kitchen study. Part spice shelf, lamp and splashback. Peppermint crisp terrazzo chiselled and draped, brushing up against champagne cork flooring and antique olive joinery. All of it sandwiched in seasoned oak. Delicious!?

Signing off the week with design resolve at Goodchap House. Cute as a button!

By retaining the original nib walls, we used their depth to screen, to soften, and to shape light through the space. The balustrade - hand turned solid hardwood, oiled and contrasting - is felt before it's seen. A quiet detail: tactile, warm, and deliberate.

Not often are you invited to pause and reflect in the thick of practice.
Recently, I had the chance to do just that - with UNSW’s first-year Interior Architecture students.

We unpacked the brutal and the delicate.
Process over polish. Research over rush.
Using our 4x4 project as a lens, we traced how influence becomes iteration - how ideas take form, then reform.
