Naked Gardening Day May 2

Sydney showed off with its warm weather this week, so we did too ☀️🌿 Naked Gardening Day felt like the perfect excuse to ditch the kit and get stuck into the garden.

Eric from Waterups and I had some fun in his awesome garden — feeding produce with Food2Soil: 100% natural, fully “naked” biological fertiliser. Nothing to hide.

Here’s a fact: Currently in Australia, fertiliser brands don’t have to list ingredients. Yep — you could be spreading who-knows-what on your food.

We’re not into that.

Today is the International Day of Zero Waste, and at Food2Soil, this isn’t just a date on the calendar; it’s our entire mission.

Most people see a bin full of scraps as the “end” of the story. But when food ends up in a landfill, it’s a double tragedy:

1️⃣ It releases methane, a greenhouse gas significantly more potent than CO2.

2️⃣ It “locks away” the precious nutrients, water, and energy it took to grow that food in the first place.
