To create one's own world takes courage - Georiga O'Keeffe

I have always been a pretty big day dreamer. I was always dreaming that I lived in another world, time or place. As most children do.

I guess I haven't really grown out of it because now, instead of just dreaming about it, I'm trying to create my own world. And this seems pretty close to it.

There's lots of wood, velvet, puff sleeves, plain walls, art, grain, flowers and natural, rustic elements in it.

A lot is still in my head, but slowly, it's becoming more real.

I've been surrounding myself with new inspiration lately. Really, I've just been following and looking closely at things...

I've been surrounding myself with new inspiration lately.

Really, I've just been following and looking closely at things that inspire me and finding myself more within all of it.

It feels right, like a homecoming.

And, as a result, my home is starting to feel true to myself with all these pieces of inspiration.
