A little teapot set I made to help fill up the gas kiln. Reduction fired, speckly and warm. The variations characteristic of where each piece sat in the kiln.

Freehand wax horsies running around the cups + pot.
A late tribute to the year of the horse, being born year of the horse and my last name literally meaning horse (馬).

The lid had fused but I released it with some freezing, hot water and some hammering without smashing the whole thing like last time, I’m glad it was meant to be.

Held vase and linked mugs for FORM.

Fun cuddly pieces for cosy intimate moments. Was extra special blending my own clays, getting them gas fired by so all the iron comes to the surface and makes it more ‘nakey’ and skin like.

Also had .grl__ be my flower selector who chose celiosa brains to fit the vision.

Was so fun to get back into it and play and make w friends!

thanks for putting it all together and hosting an epic party as per usual.

Enjoying slow mornings with ceramics made by friends, from friends, collected from travels. Ritual objects tethered to fond memories.

Indigo dyed handmade placemats from Yufuin, ceramic cups from Kanazawa when we visited from a little gift shop after we had yakiniku. double teapot from a show at house.

Reduction fired barbed wire bowls and plates I’ve been playing around with. Made from blended clays.
