Taking a moment to appreciate every detail of this ensuite 🤩. The work of ZANE CARTER ARCHITECTS, this space is something special. Not only is the view a tropical oasis, but that curved marble wall is an absolute standout! I love how the soft green tones flow through the space, from the marble and fluted detailing to the lush greenery outside. Add in the warm bronze tapware, skylight and floor to ceiling glass, and it feels more like a luxury tropical retreat than a bathroom. Absolutely stunning 😍🌿.

We have installed a home battery 🙌🏼🔋.
If you saw my last Reel from the Sungrow store, you will know we were curious whether a home battery would actually make sense for us. After reviewing our home energy usage, we decided to go with a 20kWh Sungrow battery and 15kW inverter. We calculated that this battery system and our existing solar panels should have enough battery storage and energy generation to completely remove our reliance on the power grid network.
A big thank you to Chris and the team at Charged Energy for making the installation so easy!.
It is a big investment, but with the federal battery rebate, it made a lot more sense for us.
I will share soon how much we are actually saving and whether we think it is actually worth it 👀🔋.

I love how different this mudroom feels 😍. The soft blush cabinetry paired with the checked wallpaper creates such a beautiful play on colour and pattern. The work of Kimpton Interiors, feels considered without being too serious, and the travertine flooring adds the perfect warmth and texture. Classic, elegant and full of personality 💓.

This home is such a beautiful mix of relaxed Southern charm and a more contemporary feel 🤍.

The Kitchen-Warm timber cabinetry, soft stone and touches of brass make this kitchen feel beautifully relaxed and timeless.

The Kitchen-I love how the statement range, marble splashback and brass details give this kitchen so much character.

The Bar-The beautiful blue cabinetry, antique-style mirror and brass details make this bar such a gorgeous little statement moment.

The Scullery-The arched cabinetry, cane inserts and oversized pendant make this back kitchen corner feel incredibly special.

If you caught my previous post, you’ll know I was playing around with the positioning of our new Kave Home Australia sofa and armchair 🥰.
We’ve decided to go with the second layout (which is the first photo in this post), I just think it makes our narrow alfresco area feel so much more spacious and open. Of course, we’ll probably switch it around again when we have family and friends over… because I can never leave things alone for too long 😂.
Sadly, this particular sofa is no longer available, but Kave Home has so many beautiful outdoor styles to choose from + the quality is always fabulous 👌.

Do you prefer the first or second layout? 🤔.
Our outdoor area is always a little tricky to furnish because it’s quite narrow, but that doesn’t stop me from constantly trying to make it both beautiful and functional 😂
While scrolling through Kave Home Australia , I spotted this outdoor sofa and armchair and knew they’d work perfectly. We already have their outdoor dining setting and coffee table, and the quality has been so good, so it only felt right to continue the theme!.
Sadly, I managed to grab these particular pieces just before they were discontinued 🙈, but Kave Home always has so many gorgeous options.
So… layout one or two? I still can’t decide 😂

You really do not need a huge backyard to make an impact 💚.
I love how this space has been divided into different zones for entertaining, with the covered outdoor patio flowing out to the pool, lawn and a beautiful freestanding poolside pavilion complete with its own barbecue and lounging area 😎.
It is such a clever use of space and shows how creating separate little destinations within a backyard can make it feel so much bigger, while still keeping everything connected.
Definitely one of those outdoor spaces that makes you want to spend the whole day outside ☀️.

So many beautiful details in this home 🤎 I especially love the rich timber kitchen island with that fabulous farmhouse sink, paired with the creamy cabinetry, marble and touches of brass.
K.Mitchell Design Co. has carried the same warmth through the pantry and dining area with beautiful arches, classic detailing and soft natural light.Timeless, elegant and so inviting 👌.

I often get asked, “Where is your accent from?” Well… that is not the easiest question to answer 😆.
I have lived in Australia for 27 years, but before the age of 16, I had already called five different countries home. I was born in Italy, left when I was nine, learned English in Zambia, and spent much of my childhood travelling around the world. So I suppose you could say my accent is a little bit of everywhere — a mix of all the places that shaped me along the way.
And when people hear how much I moved around, the next question is usually, “Was it hard?”
For me, the answer has always been no. I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced so much of the world at such a young age. It opened my eyes to different cultures, different ways of life and just how big and beautiful the world really is. I think when you grow up surrounded by so many different people and places, you learn to keep an open mind, embrace change and be curious about what is beyond what you already know.
Life definitely has a funny way of taking you places you never expected. Never in my wildest dreams did that little Italian girl imagine she would one day end up on the other side of the world, building a home and raising a family in Australia.
But here I am… 27 years later. And somehow, all those places I once called home have become little pieces of who I am today ❤️.
