My love of transforming chairs ❤️

There’s something I absolutely love about finding an old chair that has been forgotten, overlooked or simply needs a little love — and imagining what it could become.

For me, it’s never just about reupholstering a chair. It’s about colour, beautiful fabrics, texture and creativity… and bringing all of those elements together to create something completely individual.

I love choosing the fabric, playing with unexpected colour combinations, painting and restoring the timber, and watching the personality of each chair slowly come back to life.

Some are bold and colourful, some are elegant, some a little quirky — but no two ever need to be the same.

And perhaps my favourite part is knowing that instead of being discarded, a beautiful old piece of furniture gets to begin another chapter in someone’s home.

That’s what The Chair Lady is all about — giving old chairs new stories. ❤️
