🍄‍🟫RIEhab no.16 Vintage darning mushroom treatment 🍄‍🟫

This was a tough one for me.
The bottom hem is quite tattered.

Should I fill in the missing parts with filler?
No, As it is a very thin and delicate part, it will likely come off quickly. Even if I use some glue.
The only way is to replace it.

I trimmed the edges first. Then sanded the whole thing.
I found a perfect thin disc from my off cuts! Clean it, stained with bit dark brown and glued it together. I wrapped it tightly with masking tape to securely fasten them together. Leave it a day.
It comes out pretty good. Put back the original nail.
I filled up few places with glue+wood dust mixture.

🍄‍🟫RIEhab no.15 Vintage darning mushroom treatment 🍄‍🟫

Little cute darning mushroom. The handle is too loose. This is a phenomenon that occurs when you use it for a long time.
There was a nail in the head, but it was not reached to the handle.🤔

I used one of the tricks I often use.
All we need is to make the hole smaller so that the handle will tight fit.
So I dripped some super glue on the walls of the hole evenly and let them dry.
Sometimes I repeat this process few times to build up the wall but this time It was a perfect fit in just one go👍

It was my mum’s birthday during this week 😇 so I made non baked cheesecake with stewed apples and biscoff biscuits.

Wow!😮

Nobody organised it. Somebody put one gnome in the bush at a road junction and it escalated. 🧙🌲

Gnomesville sits at a roundabout near Ferguson Valley in the state's south west. The population is estimated in the thousands and visitors keep adding to it, often with names, messages and signs from other countries. 🌍✨

There have been attempts to clear it, which produced enough public backlash that the shire gave up and now maintains the site instead. 😏🚧
