Sew It Project: Sewing Weights
1.5hr sessions $40 All notions, sewing machine and equipment is provided – BYO fabric is an option!
Suitable for Teens & Adults

Quick sewing projects to sew along together. For basic sewist and up. Depending on how fast you sew, for some projects, you can make 2... or 3.

These weights have been made popular by the British Sewing Bee. No need to pin patterns down if you have these. They are useful to stop slipping material for when you are cutting and just plain cute.

Learn to Sew: Apron
1.5hr sessions $40 All notions, sewing machine and equipment is provided – BYO fabric is an option!
Suitable for Teens & Adults

Rusty or new to sewing? This is a 90 minute small group lesson for adults or teens (13+) to learn the basics for sewing.

Using designer fabric, this apron has a pocket and sewn ties. There is plenty of turnovers and hems to practice with.

Craft It Project: Beginner Knitting
1.5 hr sessions $35 All materials are provided.

Guided open group crafting - follow along to create together.
Come to make. Come to meet. Come for fun.

Learn to knit, purl, cast on and cast off and make a knitted square. Your 6" (15cm) square could be a coaster, doll/mouse blanket or the start of something bigger - 2 for fingerless gloves, 6 for a patchwork scarf or more for a blanket.

Participants are required to wear closed in shoes in the craft and sewing areas.

Ah Sunday! We've got our feet up today after all the fun and activity of yesterday's Sherwood Community Festival Best of all - the rain held off so we were kept busy meeting locals and making Festival Friends - were you there? Did you make one of our little macrame people?
