Kate Pittas Art Hi! I'm Kate, an Australian contemporary landscape artist , painting my love of the land with lashi

Kate Pittas is a Brisbane based artist who paints contemporary Australian landscapes. She often draws on past travels & experiences throughout Australia to create landscapes with a sense of nostalgia & romanticism. Kate has a lifelong love affair with colour & believes it is her superpower. She uses lashings of it in all her work to create evocative & highly expressive pieces. After studying Fine Arts & teaching as an Art Teacher for nearly 10 years, Kate decided to take the plunge & follow her dreams 3 years ago & now paints full time.

About the freedom of a still night in the bush, under stars that nobody & everybody owns ❤️

My work , i feel is quite distinctly Australian but I'd be interested to hear from an international audience too. I do send some paintings overseas and im curious if you see something familiar in these landscapes?

I'm offering this one up directly via me. Please message for details and more images.

This commission was such fun to paint!

The team from JCA Accounting in South Australia reached out to organise this special night sky painting to hang in their reception area so as clients could enjoy it . I love this. So, if you are in Adelaide or surrounds and are curious about my art & need an accountant...well win win right? Just saying....

A moment of thanks & much love ❤️

I can get a bit grumpy about everything online and have pulled myself up today. I am truly grateful for the community I've / we have built here. I know , without a doubt, I can attribute much of my personal growth and career highs ( & lows) to the people that matter on here. Your messages often make my day. Collectors, supporters, even those who have occasionally offered unsolicited advise, it all equates to so much ! The galleries I work with, well we choose each other & what a privileged position that is to be in. Lots to be thankful for .

So hello, thank you & I hope I can give back to you some of what you have gifted me.

Love
Kate x
