Lesson learnt, do not buy diamond arts with small printed words unless it is a large piece. This was only 20x20cm so unable to see the words clear.

Book 113. Dragon Heart Sword.
This book is an order and has been done using a new book. The book requested to be used is Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros.

Silly me forgot to take a photo before delivering it to a colleague and it was taken on the passenger seat hence the no background in photo hahaha.

Order started yesterday.
1 book pages marked.
2 book pages currently being scored to assist with easily folding back tabs so pages align neatly. 150 pages to go.
3 next cut and fold all 512 pages.
4 check for any errors (yes patterns can and do at times have errors)
5 decorate (not doing this being a new book. original cover/jacket will go back onto book)
6 deliver on tuesday (I hope)
A lot of work and hours go into all books I complete.
I enjoy doing them and take my time with each one I do. Making sure each mark in correct, each cut is the correct depth, tabs are folded correctly, and so on.
I do not time how long books take me as I know it would stop me from doing them.
At a guess so far I say I have spent 3-4 hours on this book and only up to step 2.
Saturday is a busy day for me so no book time. Which means I have tomorrow (Friday) and Sunday to complete so I can check on Monday.

Week 1 of school holidays finished.
Week 2 to go then back for Term 2.
I am going to endeavour to complete an order plus diamond art I started a couple of days ago.

I have had a break from bookfolding for the last few months, last 3 books completed were 2 in November and 1 January.
I have being having fun with Diamond Arts and Colouring In for my "me" time.
Sorry I have been slack with uploads :-)
School holidays here and I have been asked to do a book using a NEW book.
OMG why am I so nervous LOL.
I have used new ones before but they have been bought from Silly Sollys not new ones that cost $32.00 🙂
Majority of times books are second hand, with occassional new, as this is a way of repurposing them instead of them going to landfill.
To protect the new book I have taken the cover/jacket off it and replaced with any cover I could find that fitted. Saving it from being accidently damaged.
I have a week to complete so I can take it to school Tuesday 22nd.
Once completed and delivered I will post photos.
