Every pen is Australian handmade, crafted from reclaimed and recycled timber that’s been given a second life.

What was once forgotten wood is now something made to write stories, sign milestones, and last for generations.

Each pen is one of one, once it’s gone, it’s gone.

You may have noticed we’ve been a little quiet.

Since our Channel 7 story aired we’ve been working hard fulfilling orders from across Australia.

Every pen has now been completed and sent out and we’re incredibly grateful for the support you’ve shown our small family workshop.

Syd, Manni and Dan are now all turning thanks to our second lathe from Carbatech and Syd continues sanding and quality checking every pen by feel before assembly.

One of the most unexpected blessings has been old army mates reconnecting with Syd after seeing the story on TV.

Every message you send is read out loud to him many of them bring a tear to his eye.

My grandad Syd is 94 and legally blind — but he still handcrafts these pens with me, one by one.

Every pen starts as a simple piece of timber… then gets turned, sanded, polished and assembled the slow way — Syd’s way.

And the best part: every pen sold helps cover Syd’s taxi trips so we can keep making them together. 🤍
