Quick drawings in India of people who I have met. Often drawing, I am approached and asked to draw the person, and I can’t say no because the people here are so lovely. However I am learning to draw quickly because I don’t get long to myself before I am making new friends. I am learning the the process of sitting and drawing is more than making a drawing. It is the creation of memory locked on the paper. When I flick through my sketchbook books, it’s like hearing a song that transports you back in time. Self portrait or six seven? Check out photo #4 Ken Done! The in Sydney is my happy place. And right now his NoRules exhibition is on . I took my littlest niece and nephew and I think they loved it as much as me! The gallery have organised a fun scavenger hunt for the kids in the art work which really engaged them and we had the pleasure of sharing our sketch books with another artist there. Reed was totally inspired and couldn’t stop drawing. I think my favourite bit was when the kids started posing like people in the paintings.
