I work a full time 9-5.
I manage a 38 acre farm mostly solo.
I’m a mum of three.
I have 6 days a month with my husband.
And I am still building something that could change everything for our family.

Not because conditions are perfect.

Because they never will be.

But because staying still and hoping things change is no longer an option for me.

This is what we are working towards.

A sneaky weekend escape to Port Douglas 🏝️

❌ No roster to check
❌ No swing to count down
❌ No asking for annual leave

Just us Together ❤️

My husband is only home 6 days a month.

So when he is home we make every single day count.

And moments like this remind me exactly why I refuse to settle for a life controlled by someone else’s schedule.

We deserve more than waiting for the next swing end.

We deserve a life we actually get to live together.

That is what I am building.

Not just extra income.

A life on our own terms.

Can I be honest with you for a second?

And I mean really honest…..

When women tell me they don’t have time to build something extra…

I don’t get frustrated.
I get sad 😔

Because I used to say the exact same thing.

I don’t have time ⏰

I’m too busy 👶

Maybe when life settles down 😴

Meanwhile I was finding time to scroll Instagram for an hour every night 📱

Finding time to watch Netflix 📺

Finding time to do everything except the one thing that could actually change my life.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth nobody wants to say out loud.

You have time ⏰

You just haven’t decided that your future is worth prioritising yet.

And that’s okay.

I’m not judging you.

I was you.

But the day I stopped saying I don’t have time and started saying this is not my priority yet… everything changed.

Because at least that’s honest.

We make time for what matters to us.

The question is… does your future matter enough yet?

This arrived today 💛

Hubby’s Qantas gold membership gift….

And honestly?

My first reaction wasn’t “oh how exciting.”

It was…

That’s a lot of flights ✈️
That’s a lot of time apart.
That’s a lot of days solo.
A lot of nights in an empty bed.
A lot of rosters counted down.

You don’t earn Qantas gold status living at home.

You earn it living away.

And while I am so proud of everything he does for our family…

this little card is a reminder of exactly WHY I am building something different.

So that one day those flights become less necessary. And more of a choice.

A few weeks ago I was posting to crickets 🦗

Today this happened.

500% increase in interactions.
15 new followers.

And most importantly… real conversations with real women in my DMs.

This is what showing up consistently does.

Even on the hard days.

Even when nobody seems to be watching.

Even in a towel on the couch. 😂

The algorithm rewards consistency.

But more importantly… real women are finding me.

I become a mama again today ❤️

we have babies…..

🐥 Meet the newest members of our little farm family.

Because apparently managing 38 acres, a 9-5 job, FIFO life and building an online business wasn’t enough… let’s add baby chickens to the mix. 😂

Honestly though?

This is exactly the kind of life I want more of.

Slow mornings.
Farm chaos.
Babies in the garden.

The freedom to just… be here for it.

That’s what I’m building towards.

A life where moments like this aren’t squeezed in between rosters and annual leave.

But lived fully and freely. 🏡

Every time I feel scared about building something new… I come back to this. Every good thing in my life came after I decided to be brave. Leaving comfort zones is scary. Starting something new is scary. Showing up when nobody is watching yet is scary. But staying stuck forever? That’s scarier. If fear has been holding you back from building something more for your life… this is your sign. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be brave enough to start.

Got a call late last night that my daughter
is heading off on her first army exercise. 🪖

She was flying from Darwin to Melbourne and had a 2-hour stopover in Cairns. 🏝️

So what did this mumma do?

Dropped everything and got to that airport ✈️

A quick hi, bye, and the biggest mumma hug I could fit into two hours and then she was gone again, off on her next adventure.
