Most people avoid statement wallpaper because they don't know how to balance it. But there's a simple rule designers use every time.

The 60/30/10 rule:

✦ 60% dominant colour (your walls, your big moment)
✦ 30% secondary colour (sofa, rugs, larger pieces)
✦ 10% accent (a teal vase, a cushion, a lamp)

That's it. Bold florals on the wall + a blush sofa + one teal accent. Warm florals bring energy and welcome. The room does the rest.
