Unfortunately not had much time to paint recently, what with back working as a Picture Framer, but got to revisit this old, small work from a few years ago. Re-evaluated, edited and simplified...more than anything I wanted to capture the bright dappled light coming through the trees. Sometimes you just have to let the paint do its own thing...better now!

Come see it for yourself tomorrow Sunday 2nd August Palm Cove Markets 8am-2pm.

Another beautiful Palm Cove Market. I've now held 91 markets all togehter with over half of them being here at Palm Cove Markets 🌴

I set myself the target that I'd finish up doing them when I hit 100, but on days like these it would be hard to stop! 🌞

Thank you to everyone that picked up some of my local art, another great day of sales with works heading off to New Zealand, England and across the country here in Australia. 🖌🎨🖼

It may look relaxing but a lot of hard work goes into being a permanent stall holder and your support means everything! 🙏

Just finished stretching this canvas print, purchased by a customer recently from me at my Art Stall . Then added a lovely gallery-style timber float frame to finish the look! 🤩

Artwork, canvas stretching and framing all completed in-house myself

Back at Palm Cove Markets for the 2026 season! A challenging day on the weather front but great to see so many people still out & about on the weekend inbetween the rains. Thank you to everyone that bought some artwork and placed orders. I'm working on stretching your canvases and will have them in your homes very soon! Cheers Mark 🖼🖌🎨

My hand-finished canvas prints end up looking just like the original painting!

This popular Palm Cove artwork was upsized to a 30x36inch canvas print, sealed, professionally stretched ready to hang, hand-finished with oil paint and given a natural timber floating frame to complete the look. Cut and joined using my new picture framing guillotine and v-nailer, then carefully assembled, packaged and posted off to its new home in Melbourne.

All work carried out here
Another happy customer and job well done!

Signing off for 2025! Thank you all that have purchased some of my artwork this year, whether big or small every sale has kept me painting and doing what I love! 🙏🖌🎨

With new stockists this year, I cut back on the Markets and also returned to working as a Picture Framer, to support my art practice. Finally got my hands on some framing equipment for myself too, the ideal studio set-up for finishing my paintings, with canvas stretching and float frames a favourite this Christmas! Thank you again and wishing you all a safe & Happy New Year! Cheers Mark 🖼
