The U.S. government has announced new tariffs that will take effect on August 29, 2025, eliminating the $800 de minimis rule. As a result, all orders, regardless of their value, will now incur tariffs or fees before entering the country.
Currently, orders from Australia are subject to a 10% tariff based on the order value. However, discussions are ongoing between Australia Post and USPS regarding the collection of these fees. Until a resolution is reached, there is a risk that packages may be returned to me, which is neither fair to you nor sustainable for Lisa Trinca Art.
What this means for you:
✨I have temporarily disabled U.S. shipping.
✨This change does not affect shipping to Canada or other countries.
✨I will closely monitor updates from Australia Post and USPS and will resume U.S. shipping as soon as it becomes feasible.
I understand this news is disappointing, especially for my loyal U.S. customers. Please rest assured that this situation is not permanent. I remain optimistic about finding a solution soon and will keep you informed every step of the way.
I genuinely appreciate your understanding and steadfast support for my small business through its challenges. Your kindness truly means the world to me 🩷✨
