We teach our children to “keep trying and you’ll get it”don’t we! It’s like that for some things like riding a bike at least. You get a few tips as you keep going at it and with practice you get it. Some of us take longer than others but eventually we usually get things in the end.
Some wise person today said make your sample with plain white cardstock so you don’t waste your good cardstock. Did I listen? No.
I thought I was going to get it right the first time. Next time it will be different. I won’t waste my beautiful Cherry Cobbler Cardstock on my 6 attempts to get it right. Gosh it was frustrating and each time I thought I had it too. I was determined to get at least the box part done today. I did but soo many tries. 😔 My brain just could not imagine what I needed to have right before I cut and put it together.
Tomorrow I will do the front and put it all together and show you what I have been trying to make.

What do you use to pick up little sticky Dimensionals to put them in the right spot?
I use my Take Your Pick Tool- my best purchase EVER!
I don’t have long fingernails so they don’t help so this tool is my go to. My fingers just can’t pick them up and put them in the right place.
This is such a valuable tool I think everyone needs one. I actually have 2. Yes I’m forever misplacing one so I keep one in my little pencil case for those times.

I’m finally opening and playing with my September Paper Pumpkin Kit.
This is a stamping kit so it comes with its very own new style ink spot and stamps. The theme is appreciation and thinking of you which are sentiments that are needed at times. The kit can make 10 cards which will be wonderful and my brain is already thinking of alternative designs of cards than the ones supplied. For instance, I’d love to do an easel card with one of the card bases. Do you think of alternatives for cards you’ve seen?
The next round of Paper Pumpkin will be Christmas based which I’m looking forward to getting my hands on.

I finished my stocking box today after a bad start to one yesterday. I’m loving the Stitched Stocking Suite with all that is included- the paper, ribbon, dies stamp sets. I might have a fe**sh for soft ribbon but this one is soo soft to touch and light. It’s so easy to tie into a bow.
I followed Loven Stamps YouTube Video to make the box. Thank you for sharing it. It’s so good that someone else has worked out how to make this. I think this might be my go to little treat box this year. I wonder how many little cookie I could fit in?
