Yesterday I had some new people come to my card class. It was lovely to get to know Phoebe, Diana, Lisa. I had met them at CraftAlive last month so it was great to get to know them a bit more. Alisa was with us too. It turned out that quite a few of us had lots of things in common.
There was again lots of laughter and maybe a sprinkle of seriousness as they learnt how to put together the 3 different cards.
Thank you for coming it was such a fun afternoon. .

Do you do what I do …….
I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to make but what I made was nothing like I thought it would be. Today I went will a shaker card and her name and of course Happy Birthday. I think every child likes a shaker card and to see their name in print on their card too. Seeing her name will be a winner! Having a shaker card will be a winner too. And of course what 8 year old girl doesn’t like sparkle. It’s a bit late but I promised I’d make her a moving card. I broke my general rule of 3 or 5 bits of bling because I thought it worked.
Let me know what you’ve tried lately that didn’t go to plan but still worked anyway.

I’m curious? Tell me in the comments below.

Have you ever had problems getting photopolymer stamps to line up properly to punch. This method gets rid of the issue.
1. Make a punch template by punching first into a not stamped piece of cardstock.
2. Lay your stamp face down so it fits in the template exactly.
3. Use a block to pick up your stamp.
4. Ink and stamp your image.
5. Now when you punch out the image it will line up perfectly in the punch.
