I am a teacher and a digital designer who has a lifelong passion for crafting! From a young age, I enjoyed making things by hand and became skilled in quilting, sewing, embroidery, and various crafts. I discovered clay while studying in Turkey, but it wasn't until 2016 when my family and I relocated to Buenos Aires that I had a chance to explore this medium through several wheel-throwing and hand-building workshops. My creations are filled with vibrant colors, patterns, and a spirit of experimentation. I love both wheel throwing and the slow process of hand-building. From bud vases to jugs, bowls, and wall hangings, I create a diverse range of pieces in small batches. Unloading my kiln brings me a mix of awe and nerves, marking the culmination of each making journey.

Oh the joys of Tetris filling the kiln 😮‍💨 It is a long and slow process; carefully placing the wares, making sure they are not touching, aligning the shelves… And finally the second firing is in progress. My Sunshine will be ready to open in 48 hours!

Glazing is a breeze and such an enjoyable part of the pottery process at our studio! No need to drag glaze buckets nor do you need to lift them up onto a table top. Each bucket is already in its own place in the glazing table. There is a clean bucket of water to rinse all the tools at the end, which makes cleaning super easy as well 🤗 Join our classes or become a member of our studio and experience our thoughtfully- designed glazing space 😉🙌
