It has been about six years since I first met Shannon .sdb and had the chance to work with her briefly when I arrived in Australia. Even then, I greatly admired her—both as a person and as a professional—and found her truly inspiring. Now that I have the opportunity to work alongside her again, it feels like something worth celebrating. I see this as the beginning of a long journey of learning, growth, and designing beautiful homes that will be truly lived in.

Weston |
It has been a while since the last update on this project. The concrete wall is now finished, and we can finally start to see the extension taking shape.
It’s really special to experience the views from the windows and doors, looking out to a beautiful tree that holds a lot of meaning.
There has been a great deal of thought behind this extension, and I’m excited to share more details once the roof and stud walls are in place.

It’s been six years since I took this picture, and I knew then that my life was about to change. After graduating from architecture school in Brazil in 2011, I gained experience and opened my own business in 2014. Even though everything was going well, I still felt I wasn’t where I was meant to be.

In 2019—right before COVID—I finally decided to move to Australia. With the incredible support of my amazing psychologist .cardoso.psico I took the leap. I couldn’t be more grateful to be here now, living my dream and working every day to become a better professional and a better person.
