A little Sunday reminder to make time for the things you enjoy.

Our Wee Folk & Fairies Needle Felting Workshop is a chance to slow down for a few hours, play with wool and colour, and create a little character of your own.

The fairy in the video is only one option. There are different Wee Folk and Fairy designs to choose from, so you can pick the one you would most like to make and give it your own personality.

You do not need any experience with Needle Felting. I will be there to guide you step by step, and all materials are provided for use during the workshop.

Have you been wanting to try something creative, but not quite sure where to start?

Our Wee Folk & Fairies Needle Felting Workshop is a lovely introduction to Needle Felting. You do not need previous experience, and you will have plenty of person-to-person guidance as you create your own little character.

You will be able to choose from different Wee Folk and Fairy designs, then enjoy building your character bit by bit with wool, colour and detail.

It is a relaxed few hours were we create, chat and try something new. Come on your own, or bring a friend and make a creative day of it together.

It is always lovely seeing the different creations that come to life around the table. No two are ever quite the same.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, with person-to-person guidance throughout the session.

I’m getting ready for our next Wee Folk & Fairies Needle Felting Workshop and thought I’d share a little peek at what we’ll be making.
These little characters are such a lovely project to create. You choose your colours, build the shape bit by bit, and give your wee folk or fairy its own personality. I never get tired of seeing how different they all turn out.
This workshop is for complete beginners, as well as anyone who has already had a little play with Needle Felting. You will receive person-to-person tuition throughout the workshop, with plenty of guidance as you work at your own pace.
By the end of the session, you will have made your own wee folk or fairy to take home.
Saturday 12 September
10am–2pm

CraftAlive Mackay, thank you!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Whitsunday Fibre Art Supplies stall, had a chat, watched a demonstration, shared your creative ideas, or joined me for a little needle-felting time.

It was such a lovely few days surrounded by so many creative women and beautiful handmade work. I feel very grateful for every conversation, laugh and connection.

It’s been a huge week preparing for the CraftAlive expo in Mackay. My house was completely covered in wool, dye pots and felting kits.
If you haven’t booked your ticket to the largest craft expo of the year, now is the time.
I have added another class to the schedule. Learn to spin yarn on a drop spindle. It’s so fun 🤩 and only $15 to do. Most of the Fairy classes have sold out. Only a few slots are available.

CraftAlive Mackay is happening this year from 20-22 of August and we will be there. Lots of new products and specials will be available at our stall. Make sure you come and say hi.

CraftAlive is Australia’s largest craft event series with events in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC and WA. CraftAlive events feature craft teachers and retailers from across the country and covers a wide range of crafts from traditional to modern. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it!
