Five little duck went out one day…only four little ducks came back 😱
Only nursery rhymes these days.
First time I listened to this song, I was so nervous that hear “none of the little ducks came back”, I was like, whaaaaaat??? But they all came back at the end.
I thought I draw five ducklings, but there are only four, haha I guess one didn’t come back.

Neko Cafe-where the animals go after work.
Night scene in watercolour is hard to paint. I nearly gave up in the process, but I finished it! So proud of myself.
I wish there’s more cafe open till late in Melbourne, it’s so cozy and nice to catch up with friends in a cafe rather than noisy restaurants or night club.

Although I don’t like doing packing so much, but to see how good they are after hours of hard work, it still satisfy me :)

Thanks to my baby who occasionally slept for over an hour so I can finish this piece. Also my husband took care of him on the weekends.

Little interview, and catching up with friends.
Had such a wonderful day, and bub is so good, not crying at all.
I love talking to my baby, but it always feels like I’m talking to myself.
I think I need this, the conversations with adults.
Looking forward to the final video :))

雖然我很喜歡跟我的寶寶講話，但總是覺得在自言自語。跟真的大人對話感覺真好。
朱蒂跟貝克都@超好聊，真慶幸我接受他們採訪的邀約，感謝他們還帶了維尼來給我驚喜。育兒真的很需要人來拜訪，能來的人請改快來，能夠抱一下寶寶的人，請火速來，媽媽的手臂需要休息。
育兒有點像Covid閉關，沒辦法出門，沒辦法social。感謝你們聽我講育兒經，我真的人生暫時沒有其他話題了。

Original models for Junket and Gherkin ;)

Haven’t done a serious painting for a while, it feels a bit weird at start as if I forgot how to mix the colours or move the brushes, but it came back quickly.
I’m pretty happy with the colour on Junket(or Gherkin?) since she’s a white dog and white is hard to paint with in watercolour.
Hope my son is sleeping well again so I get to finish this work.
很久沒認真畫水彩了。這兩隻狗是我書裡的原型。很久沒畫畫有點奇怪的感覺，好像忘記怎麼調色跟拿筆刷，但肌肉記憶很快就回來了。白色的狗很難畫，但我還滿喜歡我畫完的樣子。希望有時間繼續畫完。

Every day I’m checking my son’s p**p — the color, the smell, how often it happens.
My phone is full of photos of his p**p.
It’s kind of like having a cat, just 100 times harder.
Having a pet means you’re never separated from p**p and p*e.

A friendly reminder: don’t forget to p**p regularly.

我很台灣中年人的個性
每次看到野生的鴨子就會想是不是很好吃
看到漂亮的鳥就會想說可不可以當寵物
當然這都只是想法，想一想不犯法

I really have the personality of a middle-aged Taiwanese person —
whenever I see wild ducks, I can’t help thinking, “Would that be tasty?”
and whenever I see a beautiful bird, I wonder, “Could I keep that as a pet?”
Of course, these are just thoughts — thinking about it isn’t a crime. 😄
