TXTURED Forcrete

From raw columns to a finish with character.

For this project, we applied to both the external and internal columns, using a hand-applied “stamp” technique to create the distinctive TXTURE across the surface.

Floated flat, then sanded and sealed, the result is an intentionally aged and distressed finish — tactile, imperfect and designed to evolve with the space.

Finished in Forcrete, it’s built for the elements, with the durability to handle weather, impact and everyday life.

Txture with purpose. Finish with character.

The pursuit of craftsmanship never stands still.

This week we had the opportunity to travel to Sydney to attend another Forcrete training day, exploring the latest innovation in seamless surfaces—Micro Granite.

Inspired by the timeless appeal of terrazzo, this new 3mm flooring system delivers the same architectural aesthetic in a refined, seamless finish, offering greater design flexibility without the need for traditional slab pours or increased floor heights.

At TXTURE, we believe that exceptional finishes are built on more than skilled application—they’re built on continual learning. Investing time in understanding new materials and techniques ensures we can deliver considered, innovative solutions without compromising on quality or craftsmanship.

A sincere thank you to Calce Company for another outstanding educational experience. The attention to detail, passion, and professionalism behind every training day is a true reflection of the products you create.

At TXTURE, we see ourselves as lifelong students of our craft — always learning, refining, and evolving our understanding of the materials and application processes that allow us to create truly bespoke finishes.

We specialise in luxury surfaces including:
• Microcement
• Clay finishes
• Liquid Metal finishes
• Lime plasters
• Venetian plasters

What we love most is that no two projects are ever the same. Every surface tells a different story and gives us the opportunity to create something unique by hand.

Grateful to do what we do and continue pushing the standard of decorative finishes.

A little insight into the application process of a Forcrete Microcement floor on a recent new dental studio in Brisbane.
Here we prepare the surface and apply the final coat before sealing — where precision, consistency and finish come together.
