The sweetest little orchid, carefully pressed from a bridal bouquet 🤍

White flowers and orchids can be some of the trickiest blooms to preserve. Over time I’ve learnt many little techniques to help these beautiful flowers hold their shape and colour through the preservation process 🤍

Two weeks of pressing and drying for Katelyn’s blooms 💐 I’m obsessed with the wheat in her bouquet!
My bridal bouquet preservation style includes pressing and air drying the blooms, so you get the best of both worlds 🫶🏻 They will continue to dry for a few more weeks before we move into the design stage 🤍

The day after our wedding, I ran around trying to save every flower I could but truthfully they we just dried and put into a box because we moved houses, jobs, etc straight after. I did make a small artwork with the dried blooms but I really wanted to press some to create an artwork in line with my bridal preservation work currently. So what better time then our 5th anniversary! My bouquet was very seasonal and very me so I have gravitated towards those flowers in our garden and this is what I have so far! I know I have a lot more to go but I’ll keep piecing it all together year by year 🥰 and how amazing I get my bouquet back every year 🌸🩷🌸
