I’ve been so busy with work my vintage hunting has been pretty much non existent. I did get to a couple of places today though, and found some cute things.

It had some paint off… but it was too cute to leave on the shelf… it’s a duck cookie jar!

As well as finding things to save from landfill, I also make things from what I’ve found…
The first was a frame painted with this awful textured paint in a pink undercoat colour.
So I made it into this blue and gold frame with angel wings and a piece of sheet music.
Then ( with some help, ok all the help) from my husband I had a go at making a couple of glass Christmas trees from glassware.

Some recent cute finds… the fairy plate has been hand painted and is a replica of a Cicely Mary barker flower fairies art work. The lady who painted this, also painted the blossom plate and tile. I always enjoy finding a few pieces from the same artist. It feels like you’ve honoured their legacy by saving them from landfill and putting them back on display.

Such a privilege to capture sweet little Rosanna's milestones... from, newborn, to 1 year session & now she has just turned 2!

I thought I would setup a cute little vintage tea party for her with some of the treasures I have been collecting for Fable Creative Co.

It was so cute watching her run over to it & set herself up, as well as serving tea to teddy. She really is such an amazing little girl.
