Mid century writing desk.

This fabulous unit has all the craftsmanship of the 1950s with so much style and elegance. With its highly sought-after cigar legs and MCM design, this little gem has classic lines, practicality, and an atomic look that will bring joy for years to come.

This piece has not been completely renovated and does have two small round holes in the backing, not noticeable at all when the desk top is up, and makes for an easy electrical port for a computer or printer. It does have a few scratches, only visible upon closer inspection, and can easily be used as is or renovated for an even better finish.

Fler UTW TV Chair

This beautiful Fler TV Chair is very comfortable; they certainly knew how to make a good chair in the 50's.

Designed in the style of the Fler UTW chair, an early mid-century TV chair, either by Fred Lowen for Australian furniture or manufactured by Supersonic Industries, Melbourne, circa 1950s.

Fler was known for popularizing the modern aesthetic in Australia and New Zealand.

The chair is in great condition for its age. The springs are solid with no sagging.

There is a slight mend in the material at the back, not noticeable unless up close.

I believe the arms are maple, and all structures are in solid condition.

The materials are flocked turquoise with small black flecks and are in very good condition.

Located in Oaklands, NSW 2646, this chair can be delivered within 100km for a small fee, or I can organize a courier.
