I love Mikael B’s work so much I purchased the print of this piece for inspiration-well that’s my excuse lol 😂 Like I needed one. I just love COLOUR!

Even after living in Los Angeles for more than a decade, Denmark remains deeply rooted in who I am. It’s where I grew up, where my journey began, and the place that continues to shape me no matter where life takes me.

Here’s some of the process, from drawing to canvas in my LA studio, and now hanging as part of OMNIA in Copenhagen.

“Vores Danmark Vl” is both personal and symbolic. It’s my way of keeping the connection to my roots alive while continuing to grow and explore the world through my art. A reflection of where I come from and the values that continue to guide me. No matter how far life and art take me, some places remain part of who you are. Denmark will always be one of them.

The painting is on view at OMNIA Copenhagen, through Aril 11th.
