Happy Mother’s Day to every kind of mother out there.

To the mums raising children, the ones who’ve carried, loved, lost, or longed to be. To the stepmums, foster mums, grandmothers, and the ones who stepped in when they didn’t have to but chose to anyway.

To the pet mums who pour their hearts into paws and whiskers, who stay up worrying, who celebrate the little things, and who love just as fiercely.

To those who mother through care, kindness, patience, and quiet strength—whether or not the world always sees it.

And to those for whom today is complicated, heavy, or tender—we see you too.

Mothering isn’t one shape. It’s love in action.

Something's shifting over here.

This page has been home to my digital pet portraits, my Gems Designz ebooks, and bits of creative chaos going back years.
And I've loved every bit of it.

But lately? I've been feeling a pull to go deeper.

I've been making art my whole life.
Digital portraits, wire sculptures, pencil drawings, sketchbook experiments, refurbishing furniture and even creepy dolls and bears and I've always found a reason not to take it seriously.
Too busy. Not good enough. Who am I to call myself an artist?

Well. Not anymore.

I'm officially on a journey to find my signature style, make work I'm genuinely excited about, and share the whole messy, beautiful process — the good stuff AND the "what even is this" stuff.

Expect: sketchbook pages, new experiments, pet content (obviously), and one very judgy cat named Bibs supervising everything from the couch.

A forest spirit deer skull with mushrooms, butterflies and vines crawling all through it — because why wouldn’t a skull have a whole ecosystem living in it? The macabre and the magical, together where they belong.
Inspired by everything I love: nature, folklore, a little bit of darkness, and a whole lot of colour. I have missed this so much.
Are you a “soft pastels” person or a “dark fantasy” person? I think I might be both. 😅
