This pattern was brought into the store by a local designer (Adelaide, Australia). Its not available for sale yet but we have a sample of it in the store for you to check out! The details are beautiful, and I'm told its a very easy pattern to knit! It was created using Neon Donegal Fluff in the Lavender Dreams colourway.

This is a beginner friendly wet felting workshop !

Create a Cowl with hand-dyed Australian fine Merino wool. This cosy neck warmer can be made in your choice of colourway with added fibres including silk and viscose.

Karen made a special visit to our store for our 2nd birthday. Which just happens to be on the 2nd of August ! Karen has visited all the way from Melbourne for both of our birthdays ! Thankyou so much mate ! you are a super star ! Love the balloon bling ! thankyou ! and seeing you is always a joy !

We have our birthday party scheduled on Friday the 21st at the La-Sing Karaoke bar. Its a ticketed event but its only $15. which really just covers venue entry. There will be giveaways on the night and you can sit and knit or jump up on stage and sing your heart out ! I reckon it will be a super fun night !

Learn to make your own fidget spinners with Ian from Crafty Fibre Tribe ! Ian will guide the group to complete 2 different types of Fidget Spinners using
just yarn and a Crochet Hook ! These cool fidget spinners will make great stocking-stuffers for Christmas ! or Fun office toys !

* 4.5 or 5 mm crochet hook
* 3.0 mm crochet hook
* 1.5 mm crochet hook
* DK/8PLY Yarn ( Ideally 50g of Varegated or colour changing yarn & 50g of Solid Colour yarn ) Ideally Acrylic or Superwash yarn.

Oh another bargain spinning wheel if anyone is looking for one. I'm no expert in wheels however we do have a Wheel Service person @ Skeinmachine who can get it serviced and working as it should. If you decide to purchase a second hand wheel and need it serviced before attending the ( Beginners Spinning Class with Kathy, on Sun 16 August (12:30PM - 3:30PM) ). Would be a good idea to book a service in now. to ensure its ready in time !
