Last night was a new moon and tonight we have entered the waning crescent phase…the best time for stargazing ✨

The stars get their chance to shine the most during the new moon phase when the night sky is completely devoid of moonlight providing the pitch black conditions required to clearly see the Milky Way and distant galaxies 🫶

The lights behind the tree are cars passing on nearby Indian Ocean Drive, a pesky reminder that civilization is still out there 😂
