I'm Tiffany, a Registered Nurse, a mother of 2, a wife, a crazy keen cook and in 2016 completed post graduate nutrition studies through Deakin University. This page is to share my recipes, knowledge and my educational journey. My aim is to keep the information that i provide realistic, achievable and non fad! My aim when cooking is to provide nutritionally dense food, to nourish the little peop
le in my life and keep myself and my husband healthy and disease free. I like to include ingredients in my recipes that benefit our bodies and our overall health and well being. But most importantly it needs to taste yummy! Throughout the page I will share information about different ingredients and there benefit to us and our health. I'm constantly learning more things about foods and their benefits (or lack of benefit!!) to our overall health and well being, I hope to share this with you. Although I love food and I love cooking 2017 will bring some different information to you via the nourishing foodie. This year I'll get a blog up and going and I hope to talk about things that I do to stay well and healthy that just don't involve cooking and eating. I've not always been one to exercise and I certainly struggle at times to regularly exercise but over the past few years I've understood the importance on regular movement for a health body and mind. Being well and healthy isn't just a number on the scales it includes body, mind and spirit - getting the balance right is different for everyone! So with that all said,
happy cooking and eating! enjoy the page! Tiffany - The Nourishing Foodie
