Now that we’re well and truly into the second half of the year, there seem to be so many little moments for saying thank you 🫶🏼

Teachers, coaches, neighbours, friends… or just someone who’s been there when you needed them.

I’ve got some very sweet little thank you cards that I’ll be popping out on the stand tomorrow morning. Perfect to add to a bunch of flowers or a little gift.

Fathers Day cards will be on the stand too along with beautiful floral design cards which are blank for any occasion 🌸

Wreaths aren’t just for Christmas… and apparently quite a few of you agree 🤎

These have been so popular over the last couple of weeks, and I’ve loved making each one a little different.

This one isn’t quite a Christmas wreath, well it doesn’t have to be but the tiny pine cones give it a sweet little nod to the season ahead 🎄

All dried and preserved, so it can be enjoyed well beyond Christmas too 🌾🤍

Starting the day like this… and the first day of spring like this 🌻🐝 we are open with some fresh and dried blooms to choose from along with soaps, bath salts & greeting cards - don’t forget Dad 🩵

Apparently summer has decided to arrive with a few hot days forecast already…

One of the reasons I asked Jayden to make the stand walls from timber rather than completely corrugated iron was because I was worried we’d end up with a giant hot box.

As much as I LOVE the look of corrugated iron, we live in a pretty hot, dry area and I wanted to give the flowers the best chance we could.

Weather plays such a huge part in flowers. Growing them, picking them, keeping them happy at the stand, weddings and events.. you’re basically always keeping one eye on the forecast.

Anyway… happy first day of spring! 🌻 Let’s hope you’re a kind one 💐🌼🌹🐝

🌿 Another beautiful local addition to The Homestead Gift Co. 🌿

Thursday afternoon we picked up some gorgeous homemade soaps from Daisy Road Farm, and we couldn’t be happier to have them joining the collection.

We have been purchasing from Daisy Road Farms products for a long time, so when we started putting together The Homestead Gift Co., they were always one of the local makers we hoped we would be able to include.

There’s something special about using products that you’ve personally loved and trusted from the beginning and now being able to share them with others makes it even better. 🥰

Beautifully made, locally sourced and chosen with care… exactly the kind of goodness we want going into our gift boxes. 🌿🎁

Another little piece of the puzzle is now in place. ❤️
