: "๐ฎ๐ณ๐ช Celebrating 80 Years of Indiaโs Independence at the Gold Coast Kite Festival! ๐ช๐ฎ๐ณ What a fantastic and memorable day at the Broadwater Parklands, celebrating the 80th Anniversary of Indiaโs Independence alongside the vibrant Gold Coast Kite Festival! It was wonderful to see families, friends and community members come together to celebrate Indiaโs rich culture, traditions and heritage, while proudly embracing the spirit of multicultural Australia. ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฆ๐บ A heartfelt thank you to all our distinguished dignitaries, government representatives, community leaders, volunteers and, most importantly, the community for making this celebration such a tremendous success. We were honoured to have representation from all three levels of government, including Mayor Tom Tate and Mayoress Ruth Tate, Angie Bell MP, Sam OโConnor MP, Sushil Goel, Rob Molhoek MP, Leon Rebello MP, Cr Brooke Peterson, representatives from the Consulate General of India, Brisbane, and many other community leaders and special guests. Your presence and support made this celebration even more meaningful. ๐ A very special appreciation to the Indian Community of Gold Coast (ICGC) Manish Saini and team ICGC and dedicated volunteers for organising such a colourful, vibrant and successful celebration. Your commitment and passion continue to strengthen the Indian-Australian community on the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast is truly a better place because of the diversity, energy, friendship and generosity that communities like ours bring to this wonderful city.
