PUBLIC ETIQUETTE QUESTION… because apparently I’m confused 😂
When did it become acceptable to have a full TWO-WAY conversation on hands-free in public spaces?!
✈️ On a plane?
🍽️ In a restaurant?
🚆 On public transport?
👥 Basically anywhere other humans are trapped within earshot and have absolutely no desire to hear your conversation?
Am I being oversensitive, or is this just incredibly ignorant behaviour? 🤷🏼♀️
I understand emergencies. I understand a quick call. But a full-blown conversation on speakerphone where everyone around you is involuntarily recruited as an audience?!
WHY?! 😩😂
My personal rule:
If you wouldn’t walk up to a group of strangers and make them listen to your entire conversation, why would you put your phone on speaker and do exactly that?
Unless you’re a reality TV star filming a scene and production needs to record both sides of the conversation… PUT THE PHONE TO YOUR EAR. 😂
