As most of you know, I was away from baking for almost five months on maternity leave.
This time was important not only for the birth of my little one, but also because as a mother, woman, immigrant and business owner, I was going through a whirlwind of emotions (plus the pregnancy hormones).
My plan was to keep this break until the end of the year, focusing only on motherhood. But the longing I felt to whisk up my creations was huge 🎂 ! So, I asked for a sign, and whatever you choose to believe in, from that day on I received 23 messages in just 4 days asking if I was already back at work.
Well, I took the hint, and I’m back !!
And let me tell you, no matter how challenging it’s to juggle a 3 month old baby (plus a 5yo one) and a business, I couldn’t be happier to be back.
This post is simply a thank you to you… the ones who allow me to be part of your special days, who believe in my work and who have been with me over the years.
My passion isn’t only for cakes, but for making your dream cake come to life! 💛
