One of my favourite quick biscuits. But I didn't have any cornflakes so used rice bubbles instead. Still gave the crunchy outside soft inside texture. Sometimes you just got to try something new.

My dear Dad gave me some fresh beetroot he had grown. So I used the Cookidoo pickled beetroot recipe. Very easy and satisfying. Used The Mixshop vacuseal jars for a longer shelf life.

When things don't go to plan a Thermomix gives you so many options.
So I planned to have Creamy Mushroom Soup and Portuguese bread but got summoned to help hubby and didn't get inside until dark. The soup only takes 20 mins. So did a quick search for bread and used the filters for total time

Following my butter post.
Here's my findings.
500g butter is $8.50

600ml cream is $5.20 which yielded
250g butter ($4.25)
250g buttermilk ($1.45)
So you come out in front with the Buttermilk which then turns into the best scones or pancakes and you have home made butter to put on them.
So making your own butter is a win in my books.❤️
