Afternoon everyone,
An update for everyone following along at home.
Tessa is now home after her scans cleared her of any physical damage. She is still sore and a bit fuzzy, but after highsiding off her horse that is to be expected.
Now that we have some time to actually explain here goes.
Tess and her horse Jack parted ways in quite spectacular fashion with Tessa coming out of the saddle over his head and landing either flat on her back or head (depends on whether you talk Aimee or Tessa about that bit).
This resulted in a trip in an ambulance to hospital and an overnight stay. Lots of scans and tests done to clear Tessa of any major injuries.
So now to some very important thank you's.
Firstly to the paramedics who responded from Ambulance Victoria, thank you so much for your professionalism, care and just the way you went about your job. Normally they are getting slammed for not doing their job right, so I'm giving them a big 10/10 for what they did.
Secondly to the ED and ward staff at Hamilton Hospital, thank you for your kindness and professionalism in the way you took care of Tessa and Aimee (Aim had to stay overnight with Tess due to her age).
And finally, thank you to all of you. Thank you for understanding that sometimes we have to put family first and not put on the show and do what we love.
The Coleraine Blacksmith Shop. will be open again tomorrow from 10am with Pete forging away. And then we are off to the Horsham Show on Sunday for the beginning of our show season.
