Wrap up of our weekend 🤍

No demos or markets for me this weekend but still did some yummy cooking in my Thermomix. Started the weekend doing a beautiful walking loop in Mosman park (ended up doing 11K steps) with the family in the most stunning spring weather 🌸 We got the most beautiful views of the swan river plus got to see the sweetest little ducklings with their mama. We then popped over to Cottesloe for lunch at Grill’d which was delish and nice to have someone else cook for me 🤪

Had a beautiful morning at church this morning and some chill time at home this afternoon before whipping up the yummiest dinner, Skinnymixers One pot chicken bolognese — always hits the spot, packet with veg and protein and the thermomix did all the work. It was so good I made a double batch for my lunch meal prep for the week.

Naan Bread on Cookidoo® in the TM7. This recipe will never get old and I have lost count how many times I’ve made this. We are all obsessed with this recipe.

As today is World Bread Day it was absolutely necessary that I share my number 1 absolute favourite bread recipe with you all. Once you have made these you will never want any other naan bread again 🤪

Besides it tasting phenomenal — the two biggest wins here is that I know every single ingredient that’s going into the bread (no nasties!) plus it saves us a ton from buying at the supermarket. If you scroll across you’ll see what I mean 🫢

This recipe makes 10 large naan breads. If I were to buy 10 from the shops it would cost me $20 meanwhile making this in the TM7 with pantry staples costs me an absolute fraction of the price!!

HANDY TIP: Once dough is prepped, place in a warm spot in your home to really get the dough to grow. See below suggestions 👇🏼

⭐️ Next to a window where sun is shining
⭐️ Oven on proof setting or very low (you don’t want to start cooking your dough)
⭐️ In your Thermoserver
⭐️ Keep in Thermomix bowl to proof

There truly isn’t anything much better than homemade bread and the Thermomix just makes it SO simple.

Some nights it’s fancy thermie dinners then there’s others that are simple/lets find whatever we have in our kitchen and make dinner 🤍

Tonight we used the TM7 to steam frozen veg. Yep, super simple! But the beauty of it is I could chuck them in the steaming basket, went into “modes” section of the Thermomix, selected frozen peas and voila — the Thermomix automatically sets up the time, speed and goes into steaming mode 🙌🏼

I love these random dinner nights, our plates are colourful with all the food groups and uses up some odds and ends we had in the pantry/freezer/fridge PLUS, we save money on a Friday takeaway.

Hello hello! 👋🏼
Have been taking some time away from social media during the school holidays so I can be more present for my kiddos = less reels & content creation… but I’m still here 😊
